The story for me didn't begin with the first sip, but with an encounter. I had the opportunity to personally meet Andrew, one of the founders of Underdog Rum. What immediately struck me was his enthusiasm. No big marketing, no artificial pitch – instead, a tasting from a backpack and genuine passion for what he had built.
When I later learned that the same people behind Far Reaches Gin were also behind Underdog, my interest was definitively piqued. I was particularly impressed by the philosophy behind the brand: sustainable materials, support for Rainforest Concern, and a story that feels authentic rather than fabricated.
