I got to know Underdog Rum together with Far Reaches. I had arranged to meet Andrew for the tasting to get to know both brands better. What immediately struck me was his friendly and uncomplicated manner. No big marketing show, no rehearsed pitch – instead, a tasting out of a backpack and genuine enthusiasm for what he and his wife Emma have built.

While Far Reaches tells stories of travel, discoveries, and botanicals from all over the world, Underdog conveys a slightly different message. The brand stands for people who go their own way without always having to be the loudest in the room. This very attitude is also reflected in the small details – from the sustainable labels to the support of Rainforest Concern.

Ultimately, what convinced me was the authenticity behind the brand. You quickly realize that Underdog wasn't born out of a marketing idea, but out of conviction and genuine passion.
