Far Reaches was actually the first gin I truly liked. This is mainly because it is exceptionally smooth due to five-fold distillation, and the fresh citrus notes are much more prominent than the often dominant juniper.
However, it wasn't just the taste that convinced me, but also the people behind the brand. When I had the opportunity to meet Andrew in person, I was immediately struck by his friendly and uncomplicated manner. A tasting from a backpack, without much fuss – but with all the more passion and heart.
